WHAT’S HAPPENING
The Qatar Balloon Festival 2nd edition is a 10 day festival of Hot Air Balloons where 35 balloons will be participating from around the world.
The event has been scheduled to coincide with three major events in the country:
1. Qatar International Food Festival: 26 Nov – 15 Dec 2021
2. FIFA Arab Cup 2021: 30 Nov – 18 Dec 2021
3. Qatar Live 2021: 01 – 18 Dec 2021
4. Qatar National Day: 18 Dec 2021

Sunrise Balloon Launches
The sunrise launches are always a magical experience, and this year will be no different!
Start your morning with the breathtaking sight of dozens of balloons rising gently into the dawn skies of Qatar — a perfect photo opportunity and a moment of awe you won’t forget.
Tethered Flights
Enjoy the thrill of going up in a hot air balloon while remaining safely tethered to the ground.
Tethered flights offer a fun and accessible way for all family members — including kids — to enjoy the sensation of ballooning without flying away.
Nightglow
As night falls over the festival grounds, the balloons return to the spotlight in a mesmerizing nightglow show.
Watch as the balloons light up in sync with music, creating a spectacular display of color and light for all ages to enjoy.
Laser Shows
Prepare to be dazzled by stunning laser displays that dance across the sky, complementing the magic of the nightglow.
These choreographed light performances are a must-see visual experience unique to the Qatar Balloon Festival.
Playground and Family FUN
In addition to the ballooning excitement, families can enjoy a wide range of activities including games, inflatables, and entertainment areas for children.
